authentic Shami sweets. Our great-grandfather, Dib bin Mohammed Kweider (1860-1951),
ignited a passion in the Al-Midan district that has burned through generations.
This is more than confectionery; it’s the soul of a city, the pride of a family, poured into every
recipe. Grandfather Abdo and father Yassin Kweider nurtured this flame, building an enduring
name synonymous with the true taste of tradition, a testament to nearly a century of unwavering
